For the past 26 years, Schafer Hardwood Flooring Co of Tecumseh, MI, has manufactured Premium Hard Maple Flooring for the Great Lakes market. Our regional marketing is now going worldwide!

Premium Grades

We have the whitest maple flooring in the country because we only use lumber cut from trees located in the northern half of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
Our first grade Maple has less fleck and virtually no mineral resulting in a truly premium product.

Superior Milling

Our manufacturing holds some of the tightest tolerances in the flooring industry.
Installation professionals in Michigan love using our flooring because it needs less sanding and less filling.
Sanding with 80 grit sandpaper on a single pass saves installers time and money.
Our tolerances are so exact we can sell our flooring pre-finished with a natural finish with a kissed edge and no micro-bevel.
